Gala Dinner and “World Baker of the Year 2012” Award Ceremony

One of the most typical restaurants in Munich, the Ratskeller, hosted the Gala Dinner of this year’s UIB Congress, as well as the “World Baker of the Year 2012” Award Ceremony. The distinction was presented to Mr. Andreu Llargués, a fourth-generation craft baker from Catalonia (Spain), who instigated the creation and celebration of the World Day of Bread.Eines der typischsten Restaurants in München, der Ratskeller, wurde auf dem diesjährigen Kongress der UIB für das Galadinner gewählt. Hier fand auch die Preisverleihung zum “Weltbäcker des Jahres 2012” statt. Die Auszeichnung wurde in diesem Jahr an Herrn Andreu Llargués verliehen, einem Handwerksbäcker in vierter Generation aus Katalonien (Spanien), der sich nachhaltig für die Einführung und jährliche Begehung des Weltbrottages eingesetzt hat.Uno de los restaurantes más típicos de Munich, el Ratskeller, sirvió de lugar para la Cena de gala del Congreso de la UIB de este año y también para la ceremonia de entrega del premio “Panadero Mundial del Año 2012”. La condecoración fue entregada al Sr. Andreu Llargués, panadero artesano de cuarta generación, de Cataluña (España), quien inició la creación y celebración del Día Mundial del Pan.
